Privacy policy
Inter IKEA Centre Group has a legal duty to protect any information that is collected from you. This Privacy Policy is Inter IKEA Centre Group’s way of telling you what information is collected, how it is used, who it will be disclosed to and how you can access, change and remove your information. By providing us with your personal information, you consent to us processing this information in one or more of the ways described in this Privacy Policy.
Non-personal Data
When you access Inter IKEA Centre Group’s web site, non-personal data (e.g. type of Internet browser and operating system used, domain name of the web site from which you came, number of visits, average time spent on the site, pages viewed) is automatically collected (i.e., not by registration) and stored with the purpose of monitoring the attractiveness of the web sites and for improving the performance and/or content.
Inter IKEA Centre Group’s web site uses ‘cookies’ and other technologies to help us understand and show which parts of the web site are popular, where our visitors are going, and how much time they spend there. A cookie consists of information sent by a web server to a web browser, and stored by the browser. The information is then sent back to the server each time the browser requests a page from the server. This enables the web server to identify and track the web browser. The cookies help Inter IKEA Centre Group to study traffic patterns which are used to customize your experience and provide greater convenience each time you interact with us. However, should you have 'cookies' disabled, you will continue to have exactly the same access to our web site’s content as with 'cookies' enabled. It will only result in slightly less accurate usage figures for Inter IKEA Centre Group’s internal reports.
Personal Data
Personal data will be collected through registration but registration is not conducted on the web site at the moment. Inter IKEA Centre Group will therefore only gain access to information you provide. In order to repay your trust Inter IKEA Centre Group takes many precautions — including administrative, technical, and physical measures — to protect your personal information against loss, theft, and misuse, as well as unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction.
Third Party Websites
When using links to other third party sites information of non-personal and personal kind may be collected without consent. Inter IKEA Centre Group is not responsible for the privacy practices or the contents of such other (external) web sites.
Disclosure
Privacy of your personal information is of paramount importance, not only to you, but also to Inter IKEA Centre Group. Information provided to the web site by users will be treated in confidence and will not be disclosed unless required to do so by law, or in connection with any legal proceedings or in order to establish, exercise or defend our legal rights (including providing information to others for the purposes of fraud prevention and reducing credit risk). At times some information may be transferred to other companies/divisions within the Inter IKEA Centre Group in other countries. However, Inter IKEA Centre Group always takes reasonable technical and organizational precautions and provides appropriate security controls to prevent unauthorized disclosure of your personal information. Third party providers may occasionally be involved in the maintenance/development of the web site, but will in those cases be obliged to treat all information with the same confidentiality as Inter IKEA Centre Group.
